Latest COVID-19 (coronavirus) help and information for the Bass Coast community

For the latest health information, visit the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS)

This website has been created to provide a central hub of key, up-to-date information on coronavirus (COVID-19) to the Bass Coast Health community. Be sure to check the DHHS website regularly for the latest health guidelines.

Community transmission is here.

Let’s work together to stop the spread. In addition to staying home, there are some other important safety measures that Bass Coast Health strongly encourages everyone in the community to adopt: hand hygiene, keep your distance, wear a mask or face covering, if unwell, stay home and arrange to get tested- you must be tested as soon as you notice symptoms.

COVID-19 testing

If you feel unwell with any symptoms of coronavirus (COVID-19), however mild, you should be tested. If you have any fever, chills, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, runny nose, and loss of sense of smell or taste - stay home, don’t go in to work; don’t go shopping; and don’t visit friends and family. Get tested and stay at home until you get the result.
