Title: Bass Coast Health is keeping the community informed
Bass Coast Health (BCH) is turning to cyberspace to keep the community informed during the COVID-19 pandemic daily.
BCH is broadcasting regular videos online and has launched a new link on its website dedicated to COVID-19 information.
BCH is very fortunate to have the expertise and support of Kevin Andrighetto – known on air as Kevin John – to deliver regular messages and interviews about COVID-19 to the public via BCH’s website and facebook page.
Kevin has more than 40 years of experience in radio and TV presentation in Melbourne, and now lives in Wonthaggi.
He conducts a five to seven minute interview with either Bass Coast Health staff or the wider community to help keep the community informed.
“The information presented is aimed at bringing people up to date with the latest activities of Bass Coast Health in its preparation for any significant spreading of the COVID-19 virus and vital guidance to prevent it from occurring,” Kevin said.
Guests so far have included BCH’s CEO Jan Child, Chief Operating Officer Louise Sparkes and Chief Medical Officer Dr Renee Kelsall.
BCH Theatre Manager Claire Mason spoke about the personal protective equipment used at BCH.
Kevin provides the calming, reassuring voice the Bass Coast community needs in the midst of the pandemic.
The COVID-19 Updates for the Bass Coast can be found on a link from our website: www.basscoasthealth.org.au.
BCH also informs the public via its Facebook page, Bass Coast Health.
Follow the page to find useful tips for staying in touch with family and friends, and looking after your health and wellbeing during COVID-19, as well as profiles of BCH staff, acknowledgements of community donations to BCH and more.
“Bass Coast Health is using every available option to keep the community informed during the COVID-19 pandemic and through our new website, will issue updates and other information that will be useful to the community as it comes to hand,” BCH CEO Jan Child said.
